As an experienced military officer, it is Ran Wing's responsibility to manage and protect the Imperial Fortress in the Valley. As a young Imperial agent, he helped fight King Raikou's forces, and was wounded at the site where the Imperial Fortress now stands.

Ran Wing is paranoid, due to too much stress, combat, and Mau Linn's many attempts to compromise the Fortress. Ran Wing's specialty is large mounted projectile weapons, and his primary means of transportation is a large barge-like platform, bristling with weapons, mounted to a heavily armored Behemoth.
