This is what I call my 3-models per-race idea:
Each race has 3 models: one Fat model, one male model, and one female model.
The Male and Female models are closer to "normal" than "thin"
The fat model has very bulky shoulders, arms, and legs, (not just a bulky stomach,) to give a visual impact to the advantage of size in Hack&Slash
Which model is used, depend on the characters dimensions
If the character is to heavy for his/her height, the fat model is used instead of the sex model
The model is scaled to be the height of the character
If we had a great deal of control over our game engine, then the male and female models would be more thin than normal, and every character would always be "tweened" so some appropriate degree between the fat model and the sex model.
I have had this idea for a long time. I think it's important to the old arcade beat-em up double dragon clone games, because those games almost always had these three sizes of characters: Male, Female, and Big ("boss").
