1. Open the Tools menu and Select Options... |

2. Double-click Drawing on the left side of the Options window 3. Click on General on the left side of the Options window 4. Change the Unit of measurement to centimeters |

5. Select Grid in the left side of the Options window 6. Change the horizontal and vertical resolution to 1.00cm 7. Click OK to close the Options window |

8. In the View menu, open the Grid submenu 9. Check all of the options, especially Snap to Grid |
