1. Create a rectangle exactly 4cm wide and 2cm tall |

2. Make a copy of the rectangle in the same place 3. Select Rotate from the Effects tools (in the toolbar on the left side of the screen) |

4. Hold the Shift key and drag a corner of the rectangle to rotate it 60 degrees |

5. Make another copy of the original rectangle 6. Rotate it 60 degrees in the opposite direction |

7. Select the two rotated rectangles 8. Right-click on the selection to open the pop-up menu 9. Open the Shapes sub-menu and select Intersect |

10. Select the new diamond shape and the original rectangle |

11. Intersect them like you did the rotated rectangles |
