Working with Hexes - Placing Pieces on a Board |

1. Place your peice in a hex on the Middle Row (which should be centered on the grid) 2. Select Rotate from the Effects tools (in the toolbar on the left side of the screen) 3. Select your peice and drag the rotation center (small black circle) along the middle row (For each space left or right you move it, your peice will be moved up or down one row) 4. Hold the Shift key and drag a corner of the peice to rotate it 60 degrees up or down (Your peice should now be on the row where you want it to end up) 5. Create a grid-aligned box around your peice and select both the box and your peice 6. Drag the selection right or left onto the hex where you want your peice 7. Delete the grid-aligned box you created |
