Peleg
Geography
Peleg is covered in a massive ocean of salt water. Although it has no continent-sized islands, the surface is dotted by thousands of archepelegos and stray islands. Peleg has a fair amount of dry surface area, but that area is made up almost entirely of coastal regions. The relatively small permanent ice caps covering both poles each have more surface area than any of the islands. EcologyPeleg's fauna consists primarily of flying and swimming archosaurs, with many variations particularly adapted for Peleg's island environments. Peleg has an abundance of challenging game for hunters on land and sea. Of particular note is the great variety of sea dragons. TechnologyTechnologically the cultures of Peleg have been able to maximize the value of thier natural recourses, to develop a level of technology almost as advanced as Monopolis with advanced shipbuilding, architecture, and steel weapons. Cultures A wide variety of anthrosaur races are found on Peleg. Directly across a displacer gate from Monopolis, many of the races originally came here from that world. However, there were already numerous anthrosaur races here when the Company first discovered Peleg, and the Company has not been able to establish a political foothold among the diverse peoples of Peleg. There have been sightings of almost all of the Anthrosaur races on Peleg, yet it is not known if they have all established significant communities. Although most of the islands have not been colonized, the massive amount of livable land mass has led to rapid expansion and divergence of cultures. There are numberless past and present cultures on Peleg. When individuals find their circumstances disagreeable, it is often easier to move to a new place and create a new culture in a new environment than to change the structure of their society or living conditions.
