Rocs are enormous flying birds. Although their size limits their maneuverability in air, they can use their long powerful legs and talons to wield weapons in flight. They can also move quickly on the ground and even fight while halfway flying and hopping on one leg.

Male Rocs have more flamboyant coloring than the females. To other Anthrosaurs, Roc speech sounds like low, hoarse bird noises.
